Pomegranate & Ginger Cocktail

Table of Contents

We are deep into October and that means pomegranate season is well under way! I remember the first time I ever tried a pomegranate seed, I was so confused by the texture and the flavor was so tangy. I didn’t love it, so I tried another. And another. And another. Turns out, pomegranate seeds are addicting- and so good for you, too! So, why not include pomegranate in a cocktail!! This cocktail is sweet and a bit spicy, but with a touch of ‘zing’ from our new Lemon Peel Smoke Dust!

Lemon Peel is the perfect Smoke Dust to use for fruity/tangy cocktails. It adds a light smoke flavor, but the notes of the smoked lemon truly shine through! Lemon Peel is the perfect smoke dust to use for lighter and fruity cocktails. Not that the other smoked dust flavors would be “bad” in this cocktail, but it is all about finding the right underlying flavor profile that fits for each drinks specific palate.

Another fun way to amp up the flavors of the cocktail would be to muddle some pomegranate seeds and pieces of ginger. Fun fact about me, I like ginger beer, but can not handle the taste of real ginger for some reason! Go figure! But I can only imagine this way would be absolutely delicious.
