The Smokeshow Cocktail

The ultimate smoky experience! Smoke all the components for the perfect smoked cocktail!

Equipment

  • 1 ice mold
  • 1 Mixing Glass
  • 1 pot for simple syrup
  • 1 sealable container
  • 1 Smokeshow Cocktail Smoker
  • 1 Butane Torch

Ingredients

Smoked Ice

  • 1 mixing glass full of water

Smoked Simple Srrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

Cocktail

  • 2 oz smoked bourbon
  • 1/4 oz smoked simple syrup
  • 3-4 dashes Angostura bitters

Garnish & Smoke

  • 4 pinches Bourbon Barrel Smoke Dust 1 for smoked ice. 1 for simple syrup, 1 for bourbon, 1 for entire cocktail
  • 1 orange peel, expressed

Instructions

Smoked Ice

  • Pour water into a mixing glass, smoke and pour into ice mold. Freeze overnight.
    1 mixing glass full of water

Smoked Simple Syrup

  • Combine ingredients into a pot over medium-high heat. Stir occassionaly until all sugar has dissolved. Let cool, transfer to a container.
    1 cup water, 1 cup sugar
  • Smoke the simple syrup inside of the container. Immediately remover the smoker and put container lid on top to seal in the smoke. Set aside.

Cocktail

  • Pour into a mixing glass, smoke, leave smoker on to allow smoke to percolate inside of glass while you ready the rocks glass.
    2 oz smoked bourbon
  • In a rocks glass, place smoked ice cube in the glass. Add in remaining igredietns.
    2 oz smoked bourbon, 1/4 oz smoked simple syrup, 3-4 dashes Angostura bitters

Garnish & Smoke

  • Add smoke dust to the smoker, and give the cocktail one last smoke! Express orange peel into glass by lighlty twisting it over the glass & drop it in!
